Nominations are sought for the posts of Vice-President and Treasurer of the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies, and for four Ordinary Member posts on the Executive Committee.

Members seeking to stand for this post must have been nominated and seconded by members of the Society. Nominations and secondings should be sent to the Executive Secretary, to be received by 11.59pm on 30th November 2009, at the following address:

Members standing should supply an election statement and a picture of themselves.

It should be noted that Executive Committee members are required to attend the meetings of the Executive Committee, which are held in London, and that in the event of non-attendance at two meetings successively members risk being removed from the Committee. The Society will only pay travelling expenses for Executive Committee members within the UK.
