Details: Registration for a conference on ‘The Irish and the London Stage: Identity, Culture, and Politics, 1680-1840’ is now open. The conference takes place on 17-18 February at the Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin.

Keynote speakers are Helen Burke (Florida State University) and Felicity Nussbaum (UCLA). The conference will include a performance of Charles Macklin’s farce on national stereotypes Love á la Mode (1759) at Dublin’s historic Smock Alley Theatre.
