AHRC-funded doctoral studentships on 18th & 19th century museum collections Back

Please find below details of two exciting AHRC fully-funded CDA opportunities for PhD studies. These two interdisciplinary projects are supervised by members of Northumbria University’s Eighteenth-Century and Romantic Studies group, and involve working with collections at the Museum of London and the Laing & Shipley Art Galleries, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

These awards present an exciting opportunity for students from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds (literature, history, history of art, cultural studies and heritage management) to gain experience within the museum sector whilst completing a PhD. Funding is available for 3.5-4 years.
