Following a successful first round of the BSECS Postgraduate & Early-Career Seminar Series, the postgraduate reps are happy to announce the call for papers for a second round, commencing January 2021. Abstracts are invited for either a 3-minute lightning talk or 15-minute paper.
Seminars take place on the last Thursday of the month. Two papers are presented per seminar, with Q&A to follow. Lightning talks will be held on January 28th.
Papers on any topics related to the long eighteenth century, across all disciplines, are welcome.
The BSECS Postgraduate & Early-Career Seminar aims to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for postgraduate and early-career researchers to get together and present their research. Seminars are free and open to all, but are aimed specifically at postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and independent scholars. Seminars will take place via Zoom. Registration is required and details will be circulated in January.
Please submit a 100 word (max) abstract for a lightning talk or a 250 word (max) abstract for a full paper to email@example.com. We also welcome proposals for pre-formed ‘panels’ of two 15-minute papers.
For any queries, please contact the postgraduate representatives via firstname.lastname@example.org
The deadline for abstracts is Tuesday 15th December 2020
