The British History in the Long Eighteenth Century Seminar at the Institute of Historical Research in London is looking for early-stage PhD students to deliver a three minute ‘lightning talk’ on their research. The event, part of the regular fortnightly seminar series, will be held on Wednesday 29th November 2017.
Travel within Britain will be subsidized for all speakers who do not have access to departmental travel funds. Afterwards, students are invited to attend an informal dinner (£15) with the other speakers and with those attending the seminar.
