Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies: Special Issue on ‘Enlightenment Identities’

Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies will publish a special issue on ‘Enlightenment Identities’, comprising a selection of articles based on papers from the 2019 ISECS Congress. It will be edited by Brycchan Carey and Caroline Warman.

Submissions must be based on papers delivered at the 2019 ISECS Congress and address its theme of ‘Enlightenment Identities’.

Submissions must be between 6000 and 8000 words in length (inclusive of references and appendices) and be fully revised for publication.

Submissions may be in UK English or French. Any quotations from other languages should include a translation in the language of the article.

Submissions should be Word files with the text double spaced. Place all references in endnotes and model them on those in existing JECS articles, which can be viewed at https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/17540208.

Submissions should be sent to the Congress email account, ice@bsecs.org.uk, by Monday 2 December 2019.
