The Georgian Papers Programme is excited to announce the launch of the King’s Friends, the online community for all with a potential interest in the contents of the Georgian papers from the Royal archives, currently being digitised by the Georgian Papers Programme for free public access. The papers are extraordinarily wide ranging and of interest to historians and literary scholars of all kinds, and of course also important for interpreting the material culture and art associated with the monarchs from George I to William IV. Membership of the Friends will make it much easier to engage effectively with this exciting new resource. Click on the link below to find out more and join the more than 200 scholars and researchers from across the world who have already affiliated. We look forward to welcoming many BSECS members.
