The V&A
are pleased to be organising a conference that complements the
Marie Antoinette Style Exhibition on 12 and 13 February. Attendees will hear from a range of
curatorial and academic speakers, each presenting new research that explores
the Marie Antoinette legend as it has developed since the eighteenth century
with a particular focus on fashion and celebrity. In-person attendees will be
invited to a drinks reception on the first evening at the V&A’s Hintze
Gallery. Online tickets are also available.
