The South West Eighteenth Century Symposium is an interdisciplinary forum which aims to bring together scholars who work on eighteenth-century culture, and who are based in the south west of the UK. 

We welcome those interested all aspects of the period – including, but not limited to, art, architecture, history, literature, music, philosophy, and politics.

The first meeting of the symposium will take place at Clifton Hill House in Bristol on 15 September 2014.
