A British Academy-funded event organized by the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies. A day of discussions and presentations bringing together established and early-career scholars (including postgraduates) to explore some of the difficulties involved in working through both Welsh and English. Our focus is the literature of the late C18th/early C19th, but we are keen to extend this to discuss C19th/C20th issues too.
